Victor de la Rosa Biography

 


Victor was born in Yaritagua Venezuela in 1981. He stated his artistic studies at the age of 8 years old at Ramon Diaz Lugo, Art Workshop in Barquisimeto, in the State of Lara. In 1996, at the age of 15 enter the School of Art, Marin Tovar y Tovar.  In 2003 he graduated from the technology Institute, Antonio Jose de Sucre, with a degree in graphic design. Currently he is perusing his master degree in plastic art at the Lisandro Alvarado University.

Victor is a young upcoming artist who has developed a special interested in renascence political, social and artistic figures. He belongs to a generation that along with Gustavo Dudamel, Director of the philharmonic of Los Angeles is putting Venezuela in the forefront of the international art movement.

His art style enrolls in the “Arte Fogista” school, consisting in a new interpretation in portraying historical figures.
